Center City Vision Awards
The 2010 Vision Awards will take place on April 29th at the Charlotte Convention Center. This year's Vision Award will honor the accomplishments of philanthropists Leon & Sandra Levine.
Last year, we celebrated the 30th Anniversary of Charlotte Center City Partners by honoring Hugh McColl with the 2009 Vision Award, and recognized all of our past Chairs and several other deserving people and organizations for their leadership and dedication to Center City Charlotte.

Center City Green Market
The Center City Green Market is gearing up for its eleventh season! The market will run Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM, May 9th through September 5th. As always, the key ingredients include a selection of fresh local produce, fresh fish from the Carolina coast and beyond, fresh-cut flowers and plants, homemade goodies, soaps, sauces and more!
Over the years, the Market has brought out an interesting array of local artists offering handmade crafts, jewelry, stained glass and more. We invite you to come by every weekend to see what's new, fresh and green!
US Airways Family Fun Festival
Come on down to Memorial Stadium from 6-10 p.m. for US Airways Family Fun Fest! Bring a non-perishable food item and you could be one of the many winners chosen throughout the event. Family-friendly activities will run from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. There will be stadium and grass seating to watch the fireworks blast off at 9:30 p.m. so get there early for a prime spot!
Red, White & Boom!
Spend your Fourth of July with friends and family in Center City Charlotte for Red, White & Boom! presented by Lance. Find your viewing area, grab a blanket and claim a spot for the spectacular fireworks show beginning at 9:30pm (weather permitting).
Blues, Brews & BBQ
Blues, Brews & BBQ is a competition and festival that will feature blues music, an array of beer samples, and some of the best barbecue you will find anywhere. Interactive cooking demonstrations and contests are featured all day. This festival celebrates the best of the southern cuisine and southern music. Food, music, entertainment and more.
First Night Charlotte
First Night is a community celebration of the New Year through the arts. It is an alcohol-free, public festival that marks the passage from the old year to the new with art, ritual and festivity. First Night offers a wide variety of artists with a broad range of appeal. Performances are held in both indoor and outdoor venues in close proximity to each other.
From 3:00 p.m. until midnight on December 31st, you’ll find musicians, dancers, actors and artists in the heart of Uptown, welcoming everyone to take part in the family-friendly festivities.
