Eleni Saunders
Chief Financial Officer
Eleni Saunders serves as Chief Financial Officer for Charlotte Center City Partners (CCCP). She is responsible for all accounting functions for CCCP and two related entities. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting and monthly reporting along with assisting the COO with Human Resources. Eleni joined the team in August 2010 in a temporary position which became permanent in December 2010.
Prior to CCCP, Eleni had experiences in many aspects of the accounting world. She began her career at IBM where she held positions in Cost Accounting, General Accounting and Financial Analysis. That was followed by experience with the Internal Revenue Service working as a Revenue Officer. After a brief return to private industry, Eleni made a switch to Public Accounting and joined Wagner Noble & Company, a local CPA firm. During her time there, she serviced her clients with all of their accounting needs from bookkeeping to tax preparation to audit and attest work. Her interest in non-profit organizations grew due to her assignments managing and conducting audits of non-profit clients.
Eleni graduated from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1990. Eleni has served on several non-profit boards in the past. Currently she serves as Treasurer for McAlpine Forest Homeowners Association and is active with various aspects of her church, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Eleni lives in Charlotte with her husband, Daniel. When not working, Eleni enjoys attending concerts, sporting events and spending time with her extended family and friends.
