As Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Communications for Charlotte Center City Partners, Moira oversees the daily operations of Center City Partners, including budgeting, facility operations, contracts, HR and CCCP’s contractual relationship with the City of Charlotte. She also oversees internal & external communications and media relations. Moira also manages special projects on behalf of the CEO.

Moira’s background revolves primarily around media and management. During her career, she worked at WBTV as studio cameraman, news photographer, reporter, anchor, executive producer and host/producer of the nationally-syndicated show PM Magazine. She worked at WBT radio as morning show co-host and afternoon talk show host. During that tenure, Moira spent a few years as full-time mom to her two sons.

Moira is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte where she is Trustee Emerita. She is past President of Temple Beth El where she is an active member. She is on the Boards of the May 20th Society and Carolinas Freedom Foundation and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Women Executives.

Moira has received the Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Award, Queens University’s Alumni of the Year, Named to the 2023 Power List for Women in Charlotte and Recognized as one of 2023’s 100 Most Powerful Women in Charlotte, NAWBO of Charlotte’s Community Service Award, Mecklenburg Time’s 50 Most Influential Women, Irish Woman of the Year, Life in Charlotte’s Media Professional of the Year and Charlotte Jewish Federation Woman of Strength.

She is married and has two sons and two grandchildren. Son Devin is Manager, Network Operations and Creative Services for the Fox Network Center, Charlotte. He lives at Lake Wylie with his children Tori and Max and wife Ana who does Internal Production Operations for NASCAR. Son David is Global Account Manager for the Avis Budget Group. His wife, Kate, is Senior Project Accountant at Quarterra Group. They live in Charlotte.
