Rashaan Peek
Chief of Staff
Rashaan Peek serves as the Chief of Staff at Charlotte Center City Partners (CCCP), an organization dedicated to driving the economic, social, and cultural development of Charlotte’s Center City. With extensive experience in managing multi-million-dollar budgets, developing impactful non-profit boards, boosting employee morale, and implementing sustainable programs, Rashaan brings a wealth of expertise to her role.
As Chief of Staff, Rashaan oversees executive office management, fosters strategic internal and external collaborations, identifies and addresses gaps in staff culture, and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at CCCP. Her extensive network of external relationships further enriches her role.
Rashaan holds several certifications, including Nonprofit Management from Duke University, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Muma School of Business, and Supply Chain Management from the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte. She is also a graduate of the YCombinator Startup School and UNC Charlotte Ventureprise.
Before joining CCCP, Rashaan founded Your Girl Inc™, an executive management firm. There, she worked with small business and nonprofit executives to enhance sustainability through strategic planning, leadership development, program and project implementation, digital marketing, and operations creation.
Most recently, Rashaan served as a Consultant Project Director for BlkTech Charlotte/BlkTech Interactive, where she focused on reducing the wealth gap through talent recruitment, fundraising, Startup Studio program development, Afrofuturism event creation, professional development, and networking.
Rashaan is the board chair/president of Money Magnets Club, and a Certified Peer Counselor by the American Association of Mental Health. She was recognized as the 2019 Mentor of the Year by ACHI Magazine for her work with girls and women in the Charlotte area.
Originally from Philadelphia and raised in Bensalem, Rashaan earned her BA from Georgia State University and has been a resident of Charlotte since December 31, 2004. She enjoys traveling with her husband, listening to audiobooks, spending time with her children, and brunching with friends.
