Salem Suber is a Charlotte native with decades of experience in entrepreneurship, community building, and culinary arts.

Salem spent 12 years building the culinary and hospitality programs at Southminster Retirement Community and also owned a restaurant, a food truck, and a catering company. He has served on the Board of the Piedmont Culinary Guild for over seven years and has coached several entrepreneurs at the Market at 7th Street before joining the Market team. Salem is passionate about economic mobility, racial equity, and inclusion, and believes in supporting new businesses through coaching, collaboration, and subsidized market entry.

As the Executive Director of the Market at 7th Street, he aims to create a community that embraces diversity and supports upward mobility for entrepreneurs.
