Center City Ambassador Program
The Center City Ambassadors are here to serve you. We are the friendly faces you will see throughout the area, dressed in our highly visible orange uniforms, engaging with everyone—from business owners and visitors to those in need. Our mission is to ensure that Center City is a welcoming, safe, and well-cared-for place for all—whether you live, work, or visit here. The Ambassador Program is essential in making that happen.
Center City Ambassadors play many roles. We help by connecting people to the right services, offering directions, and providing support where it is needed most. Our program focuses on three key areas:
- Safety: Ambassadors support the work of our law enforcement officers, CMPD, by keeping a watchful eye, reporting public safety issues, and helping to maintain a secure environment.
- Hospitality: Whether you are a worker, visitor, resident, or business owner in Uptown or South End, Ambassadors are here to assist you and ensure a pleasant experience.
- Outreach: Ambassadors reach out to our homeless neighbors and those in crisis, helping connect them with the social services they need.
